THE AWAKENING REVELATIONS is the second novel in the trilogy series, for everyone who has already read “Samantha” and enjoyed reading it – you will be please to know that the second novel is now ready.

Although Samantha was only just released in December 2012, a large part of the debut novel had to be edited to make it much shorter than it originally would have been. In the first attempt, Samantha finished at 283,000 words and was then scaled down to 153,000 for the first print. Some chapters were removed and deleted, others were edited to read more directly and thus cutting down the word count. But this left close to 100,000 words of the follow up novel already written, this made the whole process of finishing the second novel much quicker. The finished word count on “Revelations” stands at 139,000 and i can confidently state that if you enjoyed the first novel, you will love the second installment. The third and final novel in the series is yet to begin production, but do not worry as it will shortly begin and should make for quick progress as the ideas are already drawn. Once the trilogy series is completed there are ideas to either continue to use characters from this series as a break away series, or to start something completely fresh.

Firstly a huge thank you to everyone who participated in the free weekend giveaway for my debut novel, an incredible 475 downloads were recorded in four days. A great effort from friends and family who were happy to share my offer with as many people as they could manage.

The idea behind the free promotion was to try and get the novel to a wider audience across the world, there were downloads in the USA, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Vietnam, Italy, Canada, Scotland, Japan among others. Great to see such a wide spectrum of downloads and pleasantly surprised at such an diverse audience.

I personally hope that everyone enjoys the novel and continue to spread the word about the trilogy series, publication is still the aim and I shall continue to submit in an aim to, some day, be published.

So far every single person who has read THE AWAKENING: SAMANTHA has provided positive feedback, the secondary comments always then ask when will the second novel be out? This is an interesting subject as the first novel in the trilogy series is still being advertised and offered to publishers. I do hope the positive reviews can lead to some kind of professional representation, however I have every intention of having REVELATIONS available for purchase through AMAZON once it is finished.

Samantha was completed at just over 152,000 words, so far Revelations is 121,000 words and growing by the day. I can positively state that if you liked the first novel you will absolutely love the follow up. The story continues to grow and lead to the darkest hours of human existence on this planet, the blanket of darkness begins to spread as the brutal battle for survival begins.

Hi guys,

at the moment I have returned to working on the follow up to the first novel in the trilogy series. THE AWAKENING: SAMANTHA is available on Amazon as either paperback or kindle formats. The second novel in the series is also making good progress, I have returned to editing the work completed so far and will begin writing on Revelations once the editing is completed. The issue will stand with when the right time to release will be? Samantha has to be given a period of time to penetrate the market, once I believe that has been obtained – Revelations will become available.

For those of you who are lucky to know me personally, there is a very good chance that once Revelations is ready I may well produce ten copies for proofreading and make them available for those closest to me.

So far the reviews for the debut novel have been brilliant, all the copies I have ordered have been sold within days of being delivered. Currently there are more ordered and most of those have also been spoken for already.

A huge thank you to all of those who have took the time to either buy the novel or to help in any way possible in promoting the novel. The marketing aspects of self publishing are not easy, writing the novel is only half the work. The idea to self publish is pushed in the hope that somewhere along the line my novel is noticed and a mainstream publisher may wish to take it on. At the moment Social Media is the advertising model and very soon I shall be producing posters and business cards to try and gain as much exposure as possible. Currently have sent out submissions for the novel, am awaiting some replies with fingers crossed. Hopefully we can have some good news soon.

In the mean time work continues on the second novel in the trilogy, The Awakening: Revelations.

Currently the first in the trilogy is finished, The Awakening:Samantha has been completed and is currently being proofread. In its current format the novel has finished at 150,500 words and is awaiting a reply from the publishers.

Te second novel “The Awakening:Revelations” has also gathered speed, currently in the process of editing and the novel is already 50,000 words deep.
